You've Got Mail!

There is this scene in the movie "You've Got Mail" when Tom Hanks character helps Meg Ryan's character purchase food at a grocery store using a credit card in a cash-only checkout line. Well, this is the grocery store named "Zabars", a famous deli around 79th and Broadway on West Side.

The next stop on the Subway going downtown takes you near to the building where Sigorney Weaver's character lived in the movie Ghostbusters (next to Central Park.)

I was in the City to hang out with a few friends and watch movies and chat, this last Friday night. Here is another shot of Zabars!

Finally, here is a pic of our little movie-watching crew. We had the most fun conversation about older films and Barbara made an amazing dinner for us ("comfort food" as she called it, which definitely made me feel "comfy," although I am not sure that "comfy" is necessarily the same as "comfort"!)
